Marina Lucchetti of Italy, is  a well known artist was in cold Scotland for one reason alone. She was hired by a Scottish nobleman to paint some landscapes of his homeland in bonnie Scotland. On their way she and her chaperone her father have a horrific coach accident. This is where her father is badly hurt and Laird Fergus, the MacKinnon rescues them.  During her father’s convalescent period, at Fergus’s castle, attraction between Fergus and Marina only grows. They are also like fire and ice, great opposites in many ways. As Fergus known as the MacKinnon to his people. Yet he takes his role very serious but is a good leader. He is not used to anyone questioning his authority as Marina does. He has never known such an independent woman who puts her career first.

Marina though popular artist in Florence, she signs her painting with only initialing her first name. Unfortunately with a sign of the times, as many would not take her as the serious painter she is. Marina’s art has always come first and for the first time a man is her arts competition. Which will win her affection completely, her art or this man she can’t seem to forget? For the first time in her life she is unsure of the direction and decision she should make.

Another beautiful story readers will absolutely love. A breathtaking setting, brilliant dialogue, swoon worthy hero, feisty heroine and amazing plot lines! It’s has all the elements historical romance readers love with a riveting turn paging adventure filled with passion, romance and love. A definite story you don’t want to miss!

My suggestion to Ms Campbell is put regency England on the back burner for awhile, and welcome (fáilte) to bonnie Scotland!  As Scottish romance readers like myself are absolutely exhilarated and thrilled! This book is an absolute masterpiece from start to finish! I highly recommend!  I can’t wait for the next book in this magnificent series! E

I received this book from the author for a fair and honest review. I voluntarily agreed to read, review, blog it. All words, ideas and thoughts are my own.
